I have dedicated the last seventeen years to cancer research and authored several publications on the subjects of cancer and health.

The Cancer Report is the latest of my publications on natural health care. My motivation and passion to do the research for this came from the loss of my dear friend Joey to a brain tumor, my son's mother to lymphoma, and then a close friend, Peggy, to breast cancer.

This Report is profound in content, delivering an essential message to save lives and prevent the needless physical, emotional, and economic suffering of individuals and families. I say this not because of my role in this work... but because of irrefutable research contributed to this Report by so many talented, dedicated professionals.

The potential social and economic value of this Report could be measured some day in millions helped and billions saved.

Here is a little more about my background leading up to the Cancer Report.

Although I have an MBA in Marketing and regard myself as an experienced and astute businessman, I like to tell clients that I have a self-awarded PhD in natural/holistic health from the last thirty years of study, research, and "real life' experiences. During this time I have passionately pursued my education and research in this field as an author, counselor, and holistic practitioner.

I have instructed hundreds of students in thirty-five states and four countries in natural health and healing. I earned a Natural Health Certificate from the A.R.E. Medical Clinic and studied and spent many years working with the medical intuitive/psychologist Ross Peterson.

In 1998, I authored the lifetime reference guide and tape series: The Ultimate Prescription: How to Create Physical, Emotional & Spiritual Health! This program was inspired by the work of my dear friend Ross Peterson. Peterson was a gifted visionary who was the source of the insights in this guide. For almost thirty years, Ross was also my psychologist and advisor.

As one of the three co-founders of the Natural Awakenings Publishing Corporation in 1999, I have worn many "hats" and have marketed, motivated, mediated, and meditated. This position has put me in touch with all the cutting-edge natural health treatments and therapies. The corporation's magazine of the same name now has the largest circulation in the natural health field.

In closing, I just want to say, I know all about being seriously ill. I have personally been able to heal my kidneys, gall bladder, stomach ulcers, a hiatal hernia, diverticulosis, as well as chronic lower back problems with some of the same information provided in this report. I was also able to overcome depression and substance abuse.

It is our greatest hope to be able to help you and your loved ones.

When my friend John Voell approached me with his passionate plea to assist him in creating this Report, I said "Yes - absolutely!"

I have spent the last fifteen years learning and working within the fields of alternative medicine, holistic education, and spirituality, after being inspired and guided to this path by the death of my life partner in 1990 from metastatic colon cancer. Tom was diagnosed at age thirty-eight and given just four months to live; yet he was able to survive four full years beyond this grim prognosis. I attribute this to his unabashed joy in life even in the most difficult of circumstances, to his determination to create more time to be with his children, and yes-to the amazing gift of love that we shared during those years.

At one point, Tom achieved a complete remission with no sign of disease anywhere in his body, yet the cancer returned with a vengeance within six months. If he and I had known then what I now know about cancer and healing, I believe that he would still be here. I now think that Tom's cancer eventually returned because he did not understand the need to identify and address the repressed emotions of a lifetime, including some long-held angers and resentments. I wish I could go back in time and offer him the information contained in this Report. Several years after his passing, my dear Mother suffered the indignities, pain, and invasive procedures of conventional cancer treatment, and experienced one of the most difficult and horrifying deaths imaginable. I knew then there must be another way.

I later joined the newly founded National Foundation for Alternative Medicine (NFAM) in Washington, DC, and spent the next four years learning firsthand about dozens of holistic cancer treatments and protocols used internationally. As the Vice-President of Educational Services, I interacted with hundreds of cancer patients who contacted NFAM for help and I was able to offer these patients vital information via personal conversations, seminars, and clinic reports. More importantly - I was able to offer inspiration and hope. I want to reach and help many other patients and their families through the powerful and life-altering information contained within this Report.

John and I want to offer an understanding of the reasons why illness may develop, without creating a sense of guilt. We want to empower patients to take responsibility for their own healing, to educate them about how and where to begin, and then encourage them to take action to create their own healing miracle. If you have cancer, there is some inspirational and profound information in this Report that will make you think long and hard about how you got to this place in your life-- and what kind of joyful and fulfilling future you want to create as a survivor.
